Analysis of Child Crime both at macro and micro economic level and impact assessment on individual and social welfare of intervention measures.
The project is jointly implemented by the following subjects:
- Department of Economics and Fine Arts - University of Veron
- Istituto don Calabria - Community of St. Benedict
- Ministry of Justice - Department of Minority Justice
The bi-annual study will allow the assessment of the socio-economic impact of alternative measures to detention such as testing and restorative activity to the probation, allowing the evaluation of intervention programs through a systematic analysis Of the sociological and economic methodological aspects.
15 years since the introduction of alternative measures to detention, the study will thus be able to highlight, in favor of political and institutional decision-makers, elements of positivity and criticality with a view to integrating scientific expertise.
