Graduated in Economics at the University of Padua he has always been interested in territorial development, in terms of the primary and agri-food sectors and of the overall economic sector, both in terms of policies, in particular the quantitative analysis European Agricultural Policy and Cohesion Policy.

He has a profound knowledge of spatial exploration, modeling and modeling techniques, matured over a period of twenty years, which are particularly useful in ex-ante and ex-post evaluations of development policies in general.

He has participated in numerous European research projects and is author of numerous publications in Italian and foreign magazines.

He is a member of the scientific committee of the online Agriregionieuropa magazine (http://agriregionieuropa.univpm.it/), which deals with issues related to agriculture, agri-food, rural development and land-use development.
